Tennis Lessons

Private or Group Tennis Lessons for all ages - from age 4 to adults.
Our way of giving back to our community.

Tennis is a game that can last for a lifetime. We have helped make the game of tennis more available and helped improve the quality of play for many youths and adults in our community.

Youth Tennis Lessons have been developed with the help of the USTA (United States Tennis Association), the PTR (Professional Tennis Registry), the City of Rohnert Park Recreation Department, the Rohnert Park Tennis Club, and other tennis professionals for youths ages 4 to 15. We also have had Youth Tennis Leagues. We have helped players go from beginners to playing on their high school teams. Loaner racquets are available for beginners.

Adult Lessons (ages 16 and over) are available for beginning and intermediate adults. Many have begun as beginners, proceeded to intermediate classes and are now playing in local tennis club and USTA leagues. Loaner racquets are available for beginners.

We provide 5-session classes during: Spring, Summer & Fall.

To register for Youth or Adult group lessons, if classes are listed below, select your appropriate class number. If they are not listed below, go to the City of Rohnert Park Sports Classes website, and look for "All Ages Tennis Program" "Classes for Youths & Adults" on Tuesdays by Harvey Bell.

RP Course Schedules

To enroll in a class (if the links above have changed & don't work) once you have found the class number, copy it, then go to the RecEnroll website.
If you have registered for classes online here before, have your ID and PIN number handy. If you are new to the system, click on “My Account” and then “Request a New Account”. Fill in your data and click “Submit”. Your client number and PIN number will be e-mailed to you on the next business day. You can then regsiter for the current and all future courses more rapidly.

Our service to the community has also included instruction for summer youth camp participants and counselors plus a community day of free introductory tennis lessons.

We also offer private lessons by appointment.

For Adults our Rohnert Park Tennis Club provides local leagues and Round Robin tournaments for various levels of play. There are also many men’s, women’s and mixed teams playing in local or expanded area USTA league competition. For information on the USTA in our area, go to www.norcal.usta.com
